The academic year is divided into two terms:
First Term : June to September
Second Term: November to mid-April

- Second Language Std 5 to 7 Kannada
Std 8 to 10 Kannada or Hindi
- Third language Std 5 to 7 Hindi
Test and Examinations
The school conducts tests on a regular basis through-out the year. Examinations are held at the middle and end of the academic year.
Our school environment makes learning a pleasure. We have classrooms, a good library, well-equipped laboratories and a bright central courtyard.
Our well-stocked library has thousands of books, CDs and audio and video education materials.
The school has well-equipped science and computer laboratories. Students are encouraged to take part in activities like collection of botanical specimens and scientific data. Science models prepared at the school have been presented at exhibitions organised by the Department of Education, Government of Karnataka.
Co-curricular activities are a very important part of our school life and we encourage participation in sports, home science projects, horticulture, elocution, debates, theatre, art, dance and music.
Sports
We have large playgrounds for our students to improve their skills in a range of sports that include volleyball, basketball, ball-badminton, hockey, kho-kho and tennis.
Apart from conventional physical training, we also focus on athletics, yoga and meditation.
Indoor games at our school include table tennis and carom
We belive that fine arts add great value to a child’s life. Pottery, painting and handicrafts are important activities.
We conduct elocution, debates and quiz competitions.
Our students learn music and dance. They take part in plays and musicals. We have an open-air theatre in which they regularly display their artistic talents. Horticulture is another popular co-curricular activity.
